Solutions Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities

As a Solutions Senior Consultant your responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing security solution and subject matter expertise within the sales campaign 
  • Assist the sales team in qualification, pursuit and closing of opportunities 
  • Promote the Security portfolio of governance, risk and compliance services and associated security technology with the client, positioning best fit solutions that meet/enhance the clients security strategy and reduce risk 
  • Collect and determine information/data from appropriate sources to assist in determining client needs and requirements 
  • Pre-sales support for Security Consulting opportunities for designated accounts in support of key territory sales and account plans to achieve and exceed defined targets 
  • Engaging clients and partners, capturing requirements, proposing technical solution and overseeing the selection of technologies/products, scoping and estimating resources and effort needed to deliver the business value solutions to the client successfully and achieving high level of client satisfaction – to own and manage the whole process 
  • Engage with clients as a trusted advisor, listening and understanding their challenges and requirement – both technical and business, and clearly articulate and communicate to the sales team, and document them 
  • Research and develop appropriate working solution and value proposition, engaging with the respective teams to address client requirement 
  • Scope and clearly translate defined requirements, proposed solutions and value proposition into proposals/Statement of Work (SOW). 
  • Present and articulate our value proposition to clients  
  • Proactively engage client both new and existing, to provide update on the latest security trend, changes in the threat landscape, and new product and services offering 
  • Be a trusted advisor who provide sound security advise to client  
  • Be the solution owner, taking lead and working with cross-functioning team including professional services, product management, sales and marketing to drive the development of market-driven solution and services, and also for marketing events 
  • Stay up-to-date regarding current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/standards relevant to the information security, data privacy etc. 
  • Demonstrate industry expertise (deep understanding of the industry, emerging trends, issues/challenges, key players & leading practices) 
  • Ensure personal technical, communication and commercial skills are kept up to date to ensure successful execution of role, e.g. maintaining CPE, attending training, webinars.

Skills and Qualifications

As a Solutions Consultant your skills and qualifications will include: 

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Data Security, Privacy etc. 
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related, with a focus or major in IT Security being highly desirable 
  • Must have technical knowledge of the security technologies (across multiple domains such as Firewall, Network IPS, SIEM, DLP, Cloud Security etc), information security concepts and the security marketplace. 
  • Strong Understanding of industry standards, framework, regulations and best practices such as ISO27001, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, etc. 
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team-work capabilities 
  • Expert in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Role is based in Bangalore, but some traveling may be required
